    If the car is to be recycled you will be issued with a Certificate of Destruction (CoD) which is essential for two reasons. Firstly, this proves that your vehicle has been disposed of by a licensed ATF - as only those with access to the DVLA system can produce a genuine CoD for your vehicle. Secondly, this document confirms that you no longer hold any legal responsibility for the car which ultimately protects you should it ever be linked to criminal activity in the future. Find out more

    Whenever possible it's better, environmentally, to recycle or re-use a car, than to completely dispose of it. If the car is in usable condition and road worthy we may find a trade buyer for it. In this scenario we'll take care of the DVLA paperwork, relieving you of your legal responsibility as the vehicle owner and the vehicle will then be sold on.      Great service from start to finish and very friendly staff. The website is clear and informative, the quote process quick and simple. I logged an enquiry on a Saturday, was called first thing Monday morning and had the car picked up that afternoon. Payment was in my account the next day! This is an umbrella service for a number of authorised (ATF) scrapyards and it was Car and Metal Recycler in Aldershot which collected my car. They were superb too.
