CHRISTOPHER FROM GODALMING
Great service from start to finish and very friendly staff. The website is
clear and informative, the quote process quick and simple. I logged an
enquiry on a Saturday, was called first thing Monday morning and had the
car picked up that afternoon. Payment was in my account the next day! This
is an umbrella service for a number of authorised (ATF) scrapyards and it
was Car and Metal Recycler in Aldershot which collected my car. They were
superb too.ANTHONY FROM ALDERSHOT
Excellent service. Website made it easy to register the car with them,
follow up phone call came quickly after the start of their working week,
non-runner car collected promptly, and certificate of destruction reached
me the next day. They also paid twice what another site offered. Dealing
with them was so simple, but not Schofield.KATE FROM FARNBOROUGH
I went online to get my car scrapped (which was sitting in the Ford garage)
after a disaster with a different company. Their quote was higher and they
phoned me quickly afterwards. They offered me a collection date but when I
explained I had an appointment, they immediately worked around me and made
me 1st collection. They checked with me that half an hour was long enough
notice, and when I said I wasn't sure as the garage was about half hour
from me, they said they'd get the driver to call as they left the yard
with an eta. Brilliant service. Very professional.

About Hampshire
Hampshire, postal abbreviation Hants, is a county in South East England on the English Channel coast. The county town is Winchester, England's former capital city. Its two largest cities, Southampton and Portsmouth.
First settled about 14,000 years ago, Hampshire's history dates to Roman Britain, when its chief town was Winchester, then known as Venta Belgarum. The county was recorded in the 11th century Domesday Book, divided into 44 hundreds. From the 12th century, the ports grew in importance, fuelled by trade with the continent, wool and cloth manufacture, fishing and large shipbuilding industries. By the 16th century, the population of Southampton had outstripped that of Winchester.
The county's geography is varied, with upland to 286 metres (938 ft) and mostly south-flowing rivers. There are areas of downland and marsh, and two national parks: the New Forest, and part of the South Downs, which together cover 45 per cent of Hampshire.
Hampshire is one of the most affluent counties in the country. Its economy mainly derives from major companies, maritime, agriculture and tourism. Tourist attractions include seaside resorts, national parks, the National Motor Museum and the Southampton Boat Show. The county is known as the home of writers Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. Hampshire is also the childhood home of Florence Nightingale and the birthplace of engineer Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
