  • TERRY FROM GUILDFORD

Can I say what a pleasure it has been to deal with scrapmycar.co.uk . When you were first recommended to me I have to confess I was sceptical, but my fears were all unfounded and the reality was an honest, fast, hassle free , polite and friendly service. I also consider the amount paid as a fair price. The gentlemen that collected my car was polite, friendly and professional . Your contact with me has been the same and every promise made to me by your company has been kept. First class service, I will recommend you to anyone I can.

  • ELIZABETH FROM BORDON

Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for collecting my car and to let you know that the chap who did the collection was fantastic.
He stayed cheerful and polite even though the collection location was tricky... I shall certainly use your services again.

  • CATHRYN FROM BRACKNELL

I would just like to say that sometimes companies don`t get enough positive feedback from customers and so I`d like to thank you for making the process of scrapping my car easy and hassle free. The process is simple, the quote was the highest I could get from shopping around, the collection driver was pleasant and, although on a personal level I found actually letting go of my car difficult, I am really pleased that I chose scrap my car because it made the whole process a lot less stressful for me. I was also pleased to know that my car would be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner. I would also like to thank you for your timely and courteous correspondence with this matter. I am likely to recommend you to my family and friends and have already done so. I just thought you would like to receive some good feedback.

People also ask...

Is my online quotation guaranteed?

As long as the car is complete (with engine, gearbox, body panels, catalyst, battery and all the wheels) the price we offer is guaranteed for 48hrs and there are no deductions or administration charges whatsoever. Note that the car should be free from any waste and accessible.

How long does it take to collect my car?

Once you agree the price we will contact you within 30 minutes in working hours (we call and arrange a time/day for collection, typically this will be within 48 working hours). The actual collection time takes fifteen minutes; that's to load your car onto the recovery vehicle but it may take longer depending on the location of your car and how difficult it is to remove.

What do I need to provide at the time of collection?

To make the process quick have the registration document (V5C), a photo I.D, a recent utility bill, the car key, and locking wheel nut key if your car has alloy wheels, and any other paperwork you may have for the car would be useful.

What to do I do with my car insurance?

You can cancel your car insurance as soon as the car has been collected. If you cancel your insurance before the car is collected, then it is illegal for you to use it on the public highway.

How do your online quotes work?

We use our own bespoke quotation system to provide you with the best and fastest scrap price for your car. We're not an aggregator that hands your data to someone else, and it is us that will collect your car.

About Billingshurst West Sussex

Billingshurst is a village and civil parish in the Horsham District of West Sussex, England. The village lies on the A29 road (the Roman Stane Street) at its crossroads with the A272, 6 miles (10 km) south-west of Horsham and 5.5 miles (9 km) north-east of Pulborough. The average journey time between Billingshurst and London is 1 hour 12 minutes . On an average weekday, there are 34 trains travelling from Billingshurst to London.
After the Romans left, Billingshurst found itself a stopping place on a major transportation route, this time a waterborne one, as the Wey and Arun Canal linked London to the sea. The canal, known as 'London's lost route to the sea', brought sea-going vessels up to Newbridge Wharf.
