After Collection
After collection your vehicle will be taken to our Authorised Treatment Facility (ATF). Your car will then be de-registered on-line direct with the DVLA and a Certificate of Destruction (COD) will be issued via email, usually within 48 hours. This is essential as it proves that your vehicle has been disposed of by a licensed ATF - as only those with access to the DVLA system can produce a genuine CoD for your vehicle.
You can then cancel your car insurance as soon as the car has been collected and save £££'s there too.
You can possibly get a refund for any outstanding car tax by returning the yellow section of the V5C to the DVLA. More Information: https://www.gov.uk/vehicle-tax-refund.

Is my online quotation guaranteed?
As long as the car is complete (with engine, gearbox, body panels, catalyst, battery and all the wheels) the price we offer is guaranteed for 48hrs and there are no deductions or administration charges whatsoever. Note that the car should be free from any waste and accessible.
How long does it take to collect my car?
Once you agree the price we will contact you within 30 minutes in working hours (we call and arrange a time/day for collection, typically this will be within 48 working hours). The actual collection time takes fifteen minutes; that's to load your car onto the recovery vehicle but it may take longer depending on the location of your car and how difficult it is to remove.
What do I need to provide at the time of collection?
To make the process quick have the registration document (V5C), a photo I.D, a recent utility bill, the car key, and locking wheel nut key if your car has alloy wheels, and any other paperwork you may have for the car would be useful.
What to do I do with my car insurance?
You can cancel your car insurance as soon as the car has been collected. If you cancel your insurance before the car is collected, then it is illegal for you to use it on the public highway.
How do your online quotes work?
We use our own bespoke quotation system to provide you with the best and fastest scrap price for your car. We're not an aggregator that hands your data to someone else, and it is us that will collect your car.
